HOT summer care for you

Ohhhhh god!!!! ITs so hot in here. The sun is like angry at us... My sun ban has gone with the sweat. And I am like sitting in a an oven.Summer is here with all its beauty issues. Just stay 15 minutes in sun and you will get sun burned. So here are some tips for you to fight summer heat.

After returning home from hot sun, wash your face and ohter exposed body with cool water. And apply yogurt(curd) in that place and allow it to dry. And just forget about any skin damage.

For face give a ice cube massage returning home, before that wash you face to remove oil and dirt. This will get rid of that pimples coming out in this summer.

Then some usual tips everyone say
  • Use a sunscreen with minimum 30 spf and also with wide broad spectrum.
  • Cover your hair with a scarf or use an umbrella otherwise your hair will have split ends
  • To get rid of split ends after cutting your hair rub some lemon juice in the ends.
  • Its better to use a sunblock for face
  • Wash your body two times a day
  • Drink plenty of water( of course i know, we are lazy) Yet for our sweet skin.
  • Use lemon drops in water tot get rid of body odors
  • Oil your hair once a week to make you scalp cool
  • Keep a lip balm always with you and apply regularly
  • For those who have oily skin use a cleanser to remove dirt and oil.

VALENTINE'S DAY

He waited outside
in my garden, smiling
With some tulips
yellow, with honey
his face was lit
with those dimples
sweet and solid.
I could see his hands
shivering, with cold?
Sent me a quick grin
Held those blossoms,
and words of passion.
I stood there,looking
still and shivering.

# MY SKIN CARE

Lets see my routine skin care and ok, total skin care of all seasons. To begin with let me start with my skin type. From various skin determining tests I got the result that I have a normal skin, yet my skin type changes from season to season. Usually during monsoon or rainy season I have really oily skin, that I have pimples more in this season, during winter I have dry skin and in summer I have dry skin during day time and afternoon I have oily skin. Even though I have these “ combinations” of skin types its not that extent so my skin care regimen is not that tiresome.:)

Daily care:

The daily skin care I do to my skin is that cleansing and moisturizing. I now use Everyuth lemon face wash for winter but its leave my skin stretchy sometimes. But it is solved by using a moisturizer. I like this face wash as it removes my pimples to an extent and makes my face bright for the day. For body I use Camay soap daily. Even though I have dry skin I don't like a oily look on my face, so I use clean and clear oil free moisturizer and Himalaya sun screen with spf 15. I use Ayur almond nourishing cream as night cream( which I will review shortly). I take care to tie my hair away from face at night and change my pillow covers and bed sheets twice a week. I avoid touching my face during day and night. I am always very careful while using a facial product , and OMG because of all this I never get a breakout. Except for one or two pimples once in two months.

Weekly:

Even though I never believe in toning daily. I will use a toner once a week before putting on a face pack. Rose water is my toner.

I use Himalaya neem face pack for getting rid of pimples and for enriching my skin I use DIY face packs at home. Honey face pack is my favorite as it moisturize my skin and leave it supple.
I also use curd(yogurt) on my face. I use milk and oats pack to make my skin brighter and also use lemon as a bleach.I use ice massage to reduce my pore lengths .

I use both 'buy and use' scrubs from shops and also home made scrubs. Nature essence apricot scrub is my favorite. I never used St.Ives scrub which is still in my wish list. I use amla powder (indian gooseberry) on my face as a natural scrub.

I will try to have a hot oil massage at winter to make my skin happy :). I mix drops of almond oil and milk to make my skin supple. I use Pond's daily body lotion for my body( and also Ayur body lotion when I get bored) + Vaseline 24 hours moisturizer for hands and feet.

#1 MY HAIR CARE

#1 MY HAIR CARE

In this session am going to cover my hair care tips with you from daily care to weekly and monthly care.

Daily care:

I bath daily as I sweat a lot and I feel irritated like my head is heating up. I oil my hair according to the season. Now it is winter so I use oil almost daily. If I am not in the mood of oiling I will apply almond oil in the scalp before going to bed and will do a small massage. I will braid my hair because that prevent breakage. I never go out with loose hair style as I have really messy and dry hair, even though I will do that in special occasions. When I am doing that I will take care to put on a mousse or hair cream before and after returning I will comb hair with a wide tooth comb. I rarely use brush and usually detangle my hair with my hands before using a comb. I try different braiding style to college as this gives style and protection to hair.

Weekly:

I shampoo weekly with conditioner. I use Pantene shampoo and conditioner. And use Yardley hair cream. I use mainly Bajaj almond drops to give a shine to hair. I oil my hair with warm coconut oil and will do a massage. I keep this for 30 minutes before going to bath. Immediately after bathing before completely drying my hair I use bajaj almond drops as a leave-in conditioner. I change my shampoo onve ina while and use jovees honey shampoo too.

Monthly:

I cut my hair ends once in two months in waxing crescent, I dont know the reason but that makes the hair grow longer.i use hair packs like aloe vera gel massage and fenugreek+curd mask with gives nourishment to scalp.

GARNIER FRUCTIS shampoo+ oil 2 in 1

Today am gonna review about a shampoo, GARNIER FRUCTIS shampoo+ oil 2 in 1. We all know oiling our hair is important , as it gives a moisturizing effect to hair. I use gingelly oil for hair. I have curly hair and coconut oil makes my hair dry after bath. Anyways this shampoo made me drooling and I bought it soon.

PRODUCT CLAIMS
you can see it in picture, price, ingredients etc:

MY TAKE

The shampoo comes in an attractive green transparent packing( makes me remember gello). Has a flip open cap.

The shampoo is really transparent like oil. It lathers well.
This shampoo didn't made my hair so dry. The shampoo has excellent smell of fruits. Not exactly but that made my mouth watery.

The shampoo is not so drying yet is not so smoothing. There is no trace of oil in hair after shampooing. I expected a little more from this as they claim it contains olive, shea and avocado all favorites of hair. I think this contain protein, may be thats why my hair became dry. But this what a not-so-satisfactory product I must say.

OLD SPICE AFTER SHAVE LOTION

Today am going to review a product you guys would never have heard of. Its OLD SPICE After Shave Lotion.(Its a peculiar name for an After shave lotion.)

WHAT THE PRODUCT SAYS :
I have taken an almost clear photograph of what the product says. I felt it like a poetry LOL.

KEY INGREDIENTS:

Its a shaky picture yet, you can read it. It mainly contains alcohol.Price Rs 80/-

MY PERCEPTION:

This product comes in a peculiar white bottle, which has a cork-stopper kind of opening. The hole at the end of bottle is having a white plastic screw like thing inserted in it.
That plastic screw is hollow and we take the product from that hollow part. Tilt the bottle and the lotion will be there in that hollow part and we apply it directly on the part where we want to apply or else take this in a cotton ball and apply it.

Its like alcohol , watery, had that spirit form ,evaporates quickly leaving the smell.

I use this product for miner cuts on face and red bruises after threading eyebrows. Its really gives a cooling effect and the pain will vanish soon after an hour. I really like the product for the cooling sensation it gives and the smell which is really refreshing.
I always want to use this in pimples but I am afraid about the scars.
We can also use this product for what is meant to be, that is after shaving too. Small cuts will be in cleared just one day. Of course this is an amazing product in budget.
